Hi, I’m Misty Lewis.

My mission is to help small nonprofits build sustainable systems, strengthen organizational alignment, and create lasting community impact.

I’m a nonprofit consultant and systems-focused strategist passionate about helping organizations move from survival mode into sustainable growth. My background combines Organizational Science, Psychology, Communication, and Higher Education Leadership, giving me a unique perspective on how people, systems, and missions work together. Much of my work focuses on strategic planning, organizational analysis, compliance, and building practical infrastructure that reduces burnout and creates long-term stability. Growing up in rural Idaho taught me the importance of community, collaboration, and showing up for others, and that foundation continues to guide the work I do today. I believe nonprofits do their best work when they have the structure and support needed to focus on impact rather than constant crisis management.

My Approach

At Lewis Nonprofit Development, we take a people-centered approach to organizational growth. Through stakeholder interviews, organizational analysis, and strategic planning, we help nonprofits build sustainable systems that reduce burnout, strengthen infrastructure, and support long-term success. Rather than relying on generic templates, we create customized, actionable solutions designed around the unique strengths, challenges, and goals of each organization we serve.
